All products are made to order - please allow 3-5 days for manufacture and packing BEFORE shipping.

Where do you ship from?

We work with printing facilities in the UK, USA, EU and Australia. If you reside in one of these countries, your order will be printed and shipped in your country, meaning no import charges.

Delivery Estimate

Unframed art takes 5-10 days to arrive for UK, EU, USA, Ireland and Australian customers. This is on Standard, Express and Overnight shipping options only, not Budget. Budget can sometimes take up to 30 business days to arrive.

OVERNIGHT SHIPPING OPTION: your order will still take 2-3 days in production, shipping will THEN be overnight AFTER the production process. We do not recommend this option.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Immediate Order Processing Notice

To ensure the fastest possible fulfillment and global delivery times, our order system is fully automated.

Once an order is placed, it enters production immediately and cannot be cancelled, amended, or stopped.

If you no longer wish to keep your item after placing an order, it will complete production and ship to you as scheduled. Once received, you may return standard, non-custom items to our UK studio in accordance with our 14-day [Refund Policy].

Why can’t I cancel my order?

Unlike traditional retailers who store pre-made inventory on shelves, every single piece of artwork at Pretty in Print Art is individually printed, prepared, and packaged fresh for you the moment your order is placed.

Because our printing and framing workshop receives your order specifications automatically within minutes, raw materials (fine art paper, custom glass, and wood mouldings) are instantly allocated and cut. Once this physical production process begins, the order cannot be halted or erased from the production queue.

Can I change the size, frame color, or shipping address after ordering?

Because of our automated fulfillment pipeline, we are unable to manually modify item sizes, artwork choices, frame finishes, or delivery addresses once your order has been submitted. Please double-check all order details and measurements carefully before completing checkout.

What happens if I email customer service immediately after placing my order?

Our customer support team operates separately from our physical print workshop and fulfillment facilities. Because orders pass electronically into the printing queue right away, customer emails are often read after an item has already been printed, trimmed, or framed. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that a cancellation request sent via email will be seen before production occurs.

What are my options if I made a mistake or changed my mind?

If your order has already entered production or dispatched:

1. Receive the Order: Allow the package to be delivered to your address.
2. Initiate a Return: If you ordered standard catalog items, you can log into your account within 14 days of delivery to request a return to our UK studio for a product refund (minus shipping costs).
3. Reorder: You can place a new order on our website at any time for the correct size or design.

(Please note: Custom-designed artwork builds and bulk orders of 4+ framed items are subject to specific terms outlined in our main Refund Policy).

Because every single piece is custom-produced on demand rather than drawn from existing stock, items cannot be returned, re-stocked, or resold.

2. ORDER CANCELLATIONS & IMMEDIATE PRODUCTION

To ensure lightning-fast global shipping times and prevent import taxes for international buyers, our order fulfilment pipeline is highly automated.

• No Cancellations or Amendments: Once your order has been placed, it goes directly into production and cannot be cancelled, amended, or stopped.
  
• Why can’t I cancel my order? The moment your order is submitted, our automated system routes your specifications directly to our printing and framing workshop. Raw materials are immediately cut and processed. Once this physical production process begins, the order cannot be halted, modified, or erased from the production queue.
  

3. SPECIAL NOTICE FOR EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS (EU ONLY)

In accordance with EU Directive 2023/2673 and distance selling laws, buyers residing within the European Union are generally provided a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) on standard distance purchases.

• Exemption for Made-to-Order / Personalised Goods: Please note that under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. Because our products (including printed artwork and custom frames) are printed and assembled individually to order, they fall under this statutory exemption once production has commenced.

4. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

While we do not accept returns for change of mind, we stand by the quality of our craft. If your item arrives damaged in transit or features a manufacturing defect, please reply to your order confirmation email within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage so we can arrange a replacement.

Overall Size & Framed Dimensions

• Unmounted: The size you select is the size of the print. Our frame moulding is approximately 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide. Because it frames all four sides, it adds roughly 4 cm (1.6 inches) to both the total width and height.
• Example: A 12 × 16" (30 × 40 cm) print will have an outer frame size of approximately 13.6 × 17.6" (34 × 44 cm).

• Mounted (With Mat): When selecting a frame with a mount, the size you choose corresponds to the mount's outer edge (where it meets the inside of the frame). The mount border is approximately 2 inches (5 cm) wide on all sides, meaning the visible artwork in the centre is 4 inches (10 cm) smaller in both width and height than the size selected.
• Example: Choosing the 12 × 16" (30 × 40 cm) size with a mount means the central artwork window will be approximately 8 × 12" (20 × 30 cm), while the outer edge of the frame remains 13.6 × 17.6" (34 × 44 cm).

Mount width depends on the size of the frame

• Frames that are 10x10” or below have a 1” mount.
• Frames that are 11x14” or below have a 1.5” mount.
• Frames that are 12x16” or above have a 2” mount.
