How long will it take?
Please allow 3–5 working days for printing and framing before it ships. It then arrives in 5–10 days in the UK, EU, Ireland, USA and Australia.
Choose Standard or Express at checkout, where you'll also see your estimated delivery date. Express only speeds up the delivery itself; your frame still needs to be made first.
Looking for a Handmade Frame? Those are handmade to order in the UK and ship to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia, but not currently to the EU.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Simple Frames go into production automatically within 30 minutes of payment. If you spot an error, reply to your order email straight away and we'll try to help. Once production has started, we can't cancel or change the order, including the delivery address.
Can I return it?
Each frame is made to order at the studio nearest to you, so we're unable to accept returns if you change your mind.
Damaged or not right?
Reply to your order confirmation email within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the frame and the packaging (please keep the packaging), and we'll send a replacement or refund you.
Customers in the EU have a legal 14-day right to withdraw, starting from the day you receive your frame. You can start it from your account or with our EU withdrawal form.
Overall Size & Framed Dimensions
- Unmounted: The size you select is the size of the print. Our frame moulding is approximately 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide. Because it frames all four sides, it adds roughly 4 cm (1.6 inches) to both the total width and height.
- Example: A 12 × 16" (30 × 40 cm) print will have an outer frame size of approximately 13.6 × 17.6" (34 × 44 cm).
- Mounted (With Mat): When selecting a frame with a mount, the size you choose corresponds to the mount's outer edge (where it meets the inside of the frame). The mount border is approximately 2 inches (5 cm) wide on all sides, meaning the visible artwork in the centre is 4 inches (10 cm) smaller in both width and height than the size selected.
- Example: Choosing the 12 × 16" (30 × 40 cm) size with a mount means the central artwork window will be approximately 8 × 12" (20 × 30 cm), while the outer edge of the frame remains 13.6 × 17.6" (34 × 44 cm).
Mount width depends on the size of the frame
- Frames that are 10x10” or below have a 1” mount.
- Frames that are 11x14” or below have a 1.5” mount.
- Frames that are 12x16” or above have a 2” mount.
