DETAILS:
Frame - beautiful,
gold scoop, hand finished vintage-style frame.
Print - Giclée inks, printed by professionals onto 200gsm fine art paper (museum quality). Rachael then applies a specialised coating to the paper, which not only protects the inks from sunlight and dirt, but also seals it, making it water repellent. This negates the use of traditional glazing in the frames, meaning your art can be viewed from any angle - and for the interiors influencers out there, it makes art a lot easier to photograph (hurrah!).
Condition (odd bump) - as this frame is made from the off-cuts of expensive mouldings (it's how we make these stunners affordable), some may have knocks and bumps here and there... but we feel these simply add to the charm. This little beauty has one chip on the bottom right corner, and a dent on the left side (cannot be seen from front) a couple of minor niggles - any imperfections will be shown in the product imagery.
Size - picture 8x6 inch / frame 12x10 inch
Feel Good - made from offcuts of expensive, hand finished mouldings (saves what would be wasted). Supports hardworking, local and independent businesses
NON-RETURNABLE - due to this frame being the only one in existence, we do not accept returns. ALL SALES ARE FINAL
UK ONLY - we are currently selling our custom vintage frames to UK customers only, however, we do offer unframed versions of all designs to customers worldwide

CANCELLATION POLICY
Immediate Order Processing Notice
To ensure the fastest possible fulfillment and global delivery times, our order system is fully automated.
Once an order is placed, it enters production immediately and cannot be cancelled, amended, or stopped.
If you no longer wish to keep your item after placing an order, it will complete production and ship to you as scheduled. Once received, you may return standard, non-custom items to our UK studio in accordance with our 14-day [Refund Policy].
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why can’t I cancel my order?
Unlike traditional retailers who store pre-made inventory on shelves, every single piece of artwork at Pretty in Print Art is individually printed, prepared, and packaged fresh for you the moment your order is placed.
Because our printing and framing workshop receives your order specifications automatically within minutes, raw materials (fine art paper, custom glass, and wood mouldings) are instantly allocated and cut. Once this physical production process begins, the order cannot be halted or erased from the production queue.
Can I change the size, frame color, or shipping address after ordering?
Because of our automated fulfillment pipeline, we are unable to manually modify item sizes, artwork choices, frame finishes, or delivery addresses once your order has been submitted. Please double-check all order details and measurements carefully before completing checkout.
What happens if I email customer service immediately after placing my order?
Our customer support team operates separately from our physical print workshop and fulfillment facilities. Because orders pass electronically into the printing queue right away, customer emails are often read after an item has already been printed, trimmed, or framed. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that a cancellation request sent via email will be seen before production occurs.
What are my options if I made a mistake or changed my mind?
If your order has already entered production or dispatched:
- Receive the Order: Allow the package to be delivered to your address.
- Initiate a Return: If you ordered standard catalog items, you can log into your account within 14 days of delivery to request a return to our UK studio for a product refund (minus shipping costs).
- Reorder: You can place a new order on our website at any time for the correct size or design.
(Please note: Custom-designed artwork builds and bulk orders of 4+ framed items are subject to specific terms outlined in our main Refund Policy).
Here is the updated Custom & Made-to-Order Policy with strictly UK English spelling throughout (customised, colour, priority, legal rights, etc.).
BESPOKE & CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS (NO RETURNS POLICY)
Strict Non-Refundable Notice
All custom-made products created through our online builder—including personalised artwork prints, custom framed prints, and empty frames built to bespoke dimensions—are strictly non-refundable, non-returnable, and cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
1. WHAT COUNTS AS A CUSTOM / MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCT?
Under UK and EU distance selling regulations, any item tailored specifically to your individual choices is classified as bespoke. At Pretty in Print Art, this includes:
- Custom Art & Frame Builds: Any order where you select and pair your own choice of artwork print, frame moulding, frame colour, and/or custom window mount/mat board dimensions.
- Empty Frames: Any frame ordered individually (with or without custom glazing and window mounts) built to your chosen size specifications to house your own art.
- Custom Prints: Prints ordered in custom, non-standard dimensions tailored specifically to your space.
Because these items are individually manufactured based on your exact aesthetic requirements, they are unique to your order and cannot be easily resold to the general public.
2. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why can’t custom or bespoke items be returned?
Unlike standard off-the-shelf goods, custom items do not exist until you place your order. The moment your checkout is complete, raw materials—including timber mouldings, glass/glazing, mat boards, and fine art paper—are precision-cut specifically for your measurements and selections.
Because we do not hold pre-framed stock or pre-cut materials, returned custom frames and bespoke prints cannot be returned to inventory or resold at retail value.
What is the legal standing on custom returns?
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the statutory 14-day "cooling-off" period and right of withdrawal do not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
By completing your order for a custom frame or bespoke art combination, you acknowledge that production begins immediately and that rights of cancellation or change-of-mind returns are waived.
Can I change or cancel my custom order after placing it?
Because cut sheets and framing timber are prepared automatically within minutes of purchase, custom orders cannot be edited, changed, or cancelled once placed. Please double-check all frame colours, mount dimensions, and artwork choices carefully before completing checkout.
3. DAMAGED OR FAULTY CUSTOM ORDERS
While we cannot accept returns for a change of mind, wrong size selection, or aesthetic preference, your statutory rights regarding faulty goods are fully protected.
If your custom frame or print arrives with a manufacturing defect, incorrect dimensions from what you ordered, or damage sustained in transit:
- Contact Us: Email hello@prettyinprintart.com within 48 hours of receiving your delivery.
- Provide Evidence: Include your order number and clear photographs showing the fault, damage, or packaging issues.
- Our Guarantee: If verified as damaged or defective, we will immediately prioritise a free replacement build or repair for you.
What size print will the frame take?
When buying a frame without a mount, the size shown on the product size selection; ie 20x25cm, 30x40cm etc. will be the size of the art it will hold.
When buying a frame with a mount, the size shown is the glass size, where the glass meets the mount. The opening of the mount size will be noted on the size selection drop down. The mount opening size is the size of the artwork it will take.
What is the overall size?
The overall size, including the frame, will be the size of the print, plus the width of the frame x2. The width of the frame is noted in the description.
EXAMPLE:
- 30x40cm
- 2cm frame width (multiply this by 2 and add it to the size you select)
- 34x44cm overall size

Behind The Scenes
Your Handmade Frame

Step One
Your picture frame starts life as long lengths of wood. Every frame you buy is handmade to order by our tiny team here in the UK

Step Two
We cut four pieces of wood to size, and then pin the four corners to make your frame. We only use solid wood mouldings

Step Three
Lastly, we add glass glazing, your artwork, backing board, framers tape and then apply the hanging fixings
