As returns are not free, and are the responsibility of the customer, we recommend reading the policy below in full. The policy below outlines what happens if your return is damaged in transit - it explains that you will not be refunded and that you will need to claim compensation from the courier you used.
Please do not ship items back to us without receiving formal authorisation first, as unrecorded packages cannot be tracked or processed.
We want you to love your art. If you change your mind or are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we accept return requests for standard catalogue items within 14 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be completely unused, unaltered, and in the exact same pristine condition that you received it.
Key Global Requirements:
While standard catalog combinations are eligible for our tracked return process, any order where you dynamically build or customise your own artwork presentation is classified as a bespoke, custom-made product under distance selling regulations.
We strictly monitor return patterns to protect our small, independent production studio. Please note that our return policies are designed for standard, domestic retail consumers.
Because our products, especially our framed art collections, contain delicate components, specialised glass glazing, and delicate wooden frame mouldings, they are highly susceptible to damage if handled incorrectly during transit.
Please note the following criteria for returning packages:
You legally remain entirely responsible for the condition and safety of the artwork until it physically arrives and clears inspection at our United Kingdom studio. Items must be securely packed in their original, protective packaging (add more if you need to). If an item arrives damaged due to poor packaging or courier mishandling, no refund or credit will be issued. We strongly advise purchasing additional transit insurance equal to the retail value of the artwork when booking your return courier.
In accordance with EU Directive 2023/2673 and distance selling laws, buyers residing within the European Union have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) on standard catalogue purchases.
EU Compliance Rules:
To ensure lightning-fast global shipping times and prevent import taxes for international buyers, our order fulfilment pipeline is highly automated. Once your order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or amended, it will go into production, ship out to you, and you will have to return it, as per this policy.
Digital e-gift cards purchased directly from our store carry a 14-day cancellation window from the date of purchase, subject to the following strict conditions:
What size is the print?
When buying a frame without a mount, the size shown on the product size selection; ie 20x25cm, 30x40cm etc. will be the size of the art.
When buying a frame with a mount, the size shown is the glass size, where the glass meets the mount. The opening of the mount size will be noted on the size selection drop down. The mount opening size is the size of the artwork.
What is the overall size?
The overall size, including the frame, will be the size of the print, plus the width of the frame x2. The width of the frame is noted in the description.
EXAMPLE:
- 30x40cm
- 2cm frame width (multiply this by 2 and add it to the size you select)
- 34x44cm overall size

Behind The Scenes

Step One
Your picture frame starts life as long lengths of wood. Every frame you buy is handmade to order by our tiny team here in the UK

Step Two
We cut four pieces of wood to size, and then pin the four corners to make your frame. We only use solid wood mouldings

Step Three
Lastly, we add glass glazing, your artwork, backing board, framers tape and then apply the hanging fixings
